Al-Filakawi appointed head of the training committee at the Kuwait Volleyball Association

Yaqoub Al-Awadi: The Volleyball Federation announced the formation of the Training and National Teams Committee, chaired by Naif Al-Filakawi, with Khaled Al-Mutairi serving as deputy chairman, Fatima Al-Awadi as the committee’s secretary-general, and Naif Al-Farhan and Faisal Al-Ajmi as members.

On another note, the national junior volleyball team defeated Qatar three sets to none in a match held the evening before yesterday, as part of both teams’ preparations for the Second Junior Arab Volleyball Championship, which will take place in the Bahraini capital, Manama, from the 9th to the 18th of this month. The tournament features six national teams: Kuwait, Bahrain, Jordan, Egypt, Algeria, and Saudi Arabia.
