Bahrain: Repeated Iranian attacks on civilian and vital facilities in Kuwait constitute a blatant violation of its sovereignty and security

The Kingdom of Bahrain expressed its strong condemnation and outrage at the repeated, heinous Iranian attacks on civilian and vital facilities in the State of Kuwait, which constitute a blatant violation of Kuwait’s sovereignty, security, and stability, a direct threat to the safety of civilians and residents on its territory, a serious breach of the rules of international law and the UN Charter, and a flagrant violation of Security Council Resolution 2817.

In a statement, the Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs praised the competence and readiness of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces, which today intercepted and destroyed several hostile drones. It reaffirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s full solidarity with the State of Kuwait and its complete support for the deterrent measures Kuwait is taking to safeguard its sovereignty, security, stability, and territorial integrity.

Bahrain stressed the urgent need for an immediate and comprehensive halt to the heinous and unjustified attacks carried out by Iran and its proxies against countries in the region, as well as to the threats they pose to maritime navigation, thereby enhancing regional and international security and stability.
