Al-Badawi condemns Iranian attacks on Kuwait: An aggressive approach to destabilize security and stability in the region

The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Jassem Al-Budaiwi, expressed his strongest condemnation and denunciation of the heinous Iranian attacks that targeted a government facility and civilian vehicles belonging to a civilian company in Bubiyan Island, Kuwait.
He further noted that these heinous Iranian attacks represent a continuation of their hostile policy aimed at undermining security and stability in the region, constituting a blatant aggression and a flagrant violation of Kuwait’s sovereignty, as well as a direct threat to its security, stability, and the safety of its citizens and residents. Such actions also constitute a serious breach of the principles of international law and the UN Charter.
Al-Budaiwi reaffirmed the GCC’s full solidarity with Kuwait and its support for all measures taken by Kuwait to safeguard its security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.
