Food Authority: Issued 5 Violations and Destroyed 195 Kilograms of Meat in Inspection Round in Farwaniya

The Public Authority for Food and Nutrition announced that an inspection round was carried out at food establishments in the Farwaniya area by the Farwaniya Food Inspection Control, as part of the regulatory plan. In a statement, the Authority said the inspection resulted in issuing a violation for trading adulterated food, two violations for workers handling food without obtaining health certificates, and two violations for employers hiring workers without obtaining health certificates. Additionally, a report was drawn up for the destruction of meat weighing a total of 195.2 kilograms, which was destroyed in accordance with standard legal procedures. This inspection comes within the framework of continuous efforts to strengthen oversight of food establishments, safeguard consumer safety and health, and take legal action against violators.
