Prince's Representative Attends Peruvian President's Inauguration

Kuwait’s Ambassador to Brazil, Sheikh Talal Al-Mansour, representing His Highness the Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, attended the inauguration ceremony and swearing-in of the President of the friendly Republic of Peru, Keiko Fujimori.

In a statement, the Kuwaiti Embassy in Brazil noted that Ambassador Al-Mansour conveyed His Highness the Amir’s congratulations and best wishes for robust health and well-being to President Fujimori, as well as wishes for continued progress and prosperity for the friendly Republic of Peru. He also passed on greetings from His Highness the Crown Prince and His Highness the Prime Minister.

Ambassador Al-Mansour expressed Kuwait’s aspiration to strengthen bilateral relations and mutual cooperation with the Republic of Peru across various fields, in a manner that serves the interests of both friendly nations.

The inauguration ceremony took place on Tuesday at the Peruvian Parliament, attended by a number of heads of state and government, senior officials, and representatives of diplomatic missions. President Fujimori received well-wishers at the Presidential Palace in a formal atmosphere that reflected the significance of the occasion at both the national and international levels.
