Holiday Weather: Humid and Very Hot During the Day, Warm at Night

The Meteorology Department has forecast that the country’s weather during the weekend will be very hot during the day, hot to warm at night, and relatively humid, particularly in coastal areas, with the country affected by hot and humid winds.

The Acting Director of the Department, Dharar Al-Ali, told KUNA that weather maps and numerical models indicate the country will be influenced by an extension of the Indian monsoon low, accompanied by a hot and humid air mass. Winds will be variable in direction, shifting to southeasterly, leading to increased relative humidity, with some clouds appearing and a slight drop in temperatures.

He noted that on Friday daytime, the weather will be hot and humid in coastal areas, with variable to southeasterly winds, light to moderate in speed, and some high clouds appearing. Maximum temperatures are expected to range between 44 and 46 degrees Celsius, with the sea being light to moderate in wave height.

Regarding Friday night, he stated the weather will be hot to warm and relatively humid in coastal areas, with variable to southeasterly winds, light to moderate in speed. Minimum temperatures are expected to range between 32 and 34 degrees Celsius, and the sea will be light to moderate in wave height.

As for Saturday daytime, Al-Ali said the weather will be very hot and relatively humid, especially in coastal areas, with southeasterly to variable winds, light to moderate in speed, occasionally strengthening. Maximum temperatures are expected to range between 45 and 47 degrees Celsius, with the sea being light to moderate in wave height.

He added that Saturday night will be hot to warm and relatively humid in coastal areas, with southeasterly to variable winds, light to moderate in speed, and some high clouds appearing. Minimum temperatures are expected to range between 31 and 33 degrees Celsius, and the sea will be light to moderate in wave height.
