"One Home" on the Anniversary of the Brutal Invasion

On the occasion of the 36th anniversary of the brutal Iraqi invasion, the evening program “One House” is being broadcast on the airwaves of Kuwait’s Second Program. The program stars Moudi Abdullah, Yousef Al-Hushash, Yousef Al-Omar, Ilham Al-Hamadi, Manal Al-Jarallah, Ali Al-Husseini, Hussein Al-Rifai, Abdullah Al-Qallaf, and Mohammed Al-Shatti.

Al-Anba was present at the Kuwait State Radio studio and spoke with director Othman Al-Shatti, who said: “I have completed directing and recording a special evening program commemorating the brutal Iraqi invasion, titled ‘One House.’ It was written by Dr. Yousef Al-Sari, and the program highlights the behind-the-scenes events during the brutal occupation of Kuwait on August 2. By ‘behind the scenes,’ I mean the mutual social solidarity that emerged among members of society, as well as their cooperation during the Iraqi occupation. This included volunteering in hospitals, serving people with special needs, the elderly, and children, and delivering supplies and provisions to all members of the community. The overarching goal was to demonstrate unity and solidarity against any aggression.”
