KIB contributes $3 million to the Kuwait Emergency Response Fund

The Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development announced that Kuwait International Bank (KIB) has contributed $3 million to the Kuwait Emergency Response Fund, launched on July 5, with the aim of enhancing national readiness and improving Kuwait’s capacity to respond promptly to exceptional circumstances.

The Fund clarified that KIB’s contribution stems from its sustainability strategy, its national and social responsibility, and its commitment to supporting initiatives that bolster national readiness, strengthen integration between state institutions and the private sector, and thereby reinforce the foundations of stability and ensure the continuity of essential services under all circumstances.

It added that the bank’s contribution also aims to provide a fast and flexible financing mechanism that supports the state’s ability to respond to emergencies, enhances the continuity of basic services, and contributes to protecting critical infrastructure and facilities, thereby raising Kuwait’s readiness to address various developments and challenges.
