Applications Open for Study Leave and Scholarship Plans for Kuwait Electricity Employees Next Sunday

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, Dr. Adel Al-Zamil, issued a decision announcing the dispatch plans for missions and academic leaves for the 2026/2027 academic year at the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy.
The decision set August 2 as the opening date for applications for dispatch plans, with the application window remaining open until August 13. The decision stipulated that applicants must complete the specific form for each plan via the Ministry’s website during the announced application period.
The decision clarified that the eligibility criteria for dispatch for missions and academic leaves, both within and outside Kuwait, are those approved and stipulated in Civil Service Council Decision No. (10) of 1986 and its amendments, supplemented by the conditions, controls, and selection criteria specific to the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, as outlined in Ministerial Decision No. (166) of 2026.
The decision further stated that the announcement of dispatch plans for missions and academic leaves is published on the Ministry’s website, which includes the dispatch plans, approved specializations, conditions for dispatch as per the Civil Service Diwan, the Ministry’s specific conditions, selection criteria, and required supporting documents.
The decision included the dispatch plan specializations approved by the Civil Service Diwan for the academic diploma and bachelor’s degree levels, as follows:
