Al-Huwail: The National Platform for Women's Affairs is a unified reference to support decision-making and enhance the integration of government entities

Minister of Social Affairs, Family, and Childhood Dr. Amthal Al-Huwaila emphasized the importance of establishing the National Platform for Women’s Affairs, to serve as a unified reference that supports decision-making and enhances coordination among government entities.
In a press statement yesterday, following her chairing of a meeting with representatives from Microsoft and members of the Women’s Affairs Committee to discuss the project, Minister Al-Huwaila said the platform aims to compile data, statistics, indicators, and legislation related to women within an integrated digital system.
She clarified that the platform will actively contribute to supporting the preparation of national and international reports, improving data quality, and monitoring the implementation of initiatives and recommendations related to women’s affairs.
She stressed the necessity of leveraging modern digital solutions and technologies to build an interactive platform that provides accurate and up-to-date information, thereby supporting policy formulation in line with Kuwait’s direction toward digital transformation and sustainable development.
On another note, Minister of Social Affairs, Family, and Childhood Dr. Amthal Al-Huwaila received a number of citizens as part of the weekly meeting that the ministry is keen to organize, in line with its approach of direct communication with beneficiaries and listening to their demands and observations.
During the meeting, Al-Huwaila emphasized the importance of strengthening communication channels with citizens, which contributes to closely understanding their needs and working to facilitate procedures and remove obstacles they may face, thereby ensuring service quality and expediting their delivery.
She explained that these periodic meetings serve as a direct platform for exchanging views and proposals, and for utilizing citizens’ feedback to develop services and enhance institutional performance, in alignment with the ministry’s focus on continuous improvement.
She stressed the continuation of this approach, which enhances transparency and partnership with society, and reaffirms the ministry’s commitment to delivering more efficient and responsive services that meet citizens’ aspirations.
