Six decrees on the withdrawal and revocation of nationality for 25 individuals

Six decrees were issued withdrawing and revoking Kuwaiti citizenship from 25 individuals, according to a report published in the official newspaper supplement “Kuwait Today.” Decree No. 116 of 2026 stipulates the withdrawal of Kuwaiti citizenship certificates from six persons, as well as from those who acquired citizenship through them by derivation. Decree No. 117 provides for the withdrawal of Kuwaiti citizenship from two persons, and from those who acquired it alongside them by derivation. Decree No. 118 withdrew Kuwaiti citizenship from one person. Decree No. 119 stipulates the withdrawal of Kuwaiti citizenship from nine persons, and from those who may have acquired it alongside them by derivation. Decree No. 120 orders the withdrawal of Kuwaiti citizenship certificates from one person, and from those who acquired citizenship through that certificate holder by derivation. Pursuant to Decree No. 121, Kuwaiti citizenship is revoked from six persons.
