Deputy Minister of Interior Chairs Security Meeting to Follow Up on Developments in Security Plans

Deputy Minister of Interior Major General Abdulwahab Ahmed Al-Wahayeb chaired a meeting yesterday with the Assistant Deputy Ministers of Interior and heads of security sectors, as part of efforts to monitor operations and enhance coordination among the Ministry’s various sectors, thereby contributing to improved security and administrative performance.
At the outset of the meeting, the Deputy Minister conveyed greetings from the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousif, to those present, wishing them success in carrying out their duties. He emphasized the importance of holding regular meetings among security leadership, given their role in strengthening communication and understanding among sectors, overcoming obstacles, and unifying efforts to achieve desired objectives and enhance the efficiency of the security system.
During the meeting, several topics related to the operations of security sectors were reviewed, and the implementation of approved plans and programs was monitored. Discussions also covered the preparation of a comprehensive strategy for the Ministry of Interior and the establishment of an integrated operational framework to organize work among departments, strengthen institutional integration, and develop performance to meet the requirements of the current stage.
Major General Abdulwahab Ahmed Al-Wahayeb stressed the importance of continuing coordination and integration among all sectors, and working with a team spirit to further develop the security operational system and raise readiness levels, thereby enhancing national security and serving the public interest.
