Death and further injuries in vehicle rollover at Um Safq

Ahmed Khamis: A vehicle rollover on Road 600 heading toward Um Safq resulted in the death of one person and injuries to another. A security source said the vehicle overturned on Road 600 in the direction of Um Safq, causing injuries to both occupants, who were transported by emergency medical services to Adan Hospital for treatment. He noted that the security checkpoint at the hospital reported that one of the two individuals died from his injuries, while the other is still receiving treatment. Meanwhile, an Arab expatriate in his fifties suffered multiple wounds and fractures after being hit by a car while crossing an internal road in the Souq area of Jahra. A report received yesterday evening by the Ministry of Interior’s operations room indicated that a hit-and-run accident had occurred in the Souq area of Jahra. Patrol officers and an ambulance were immediately dispatched to the scene. It was found that an Arab expatriate in his fifties was struck by a car driven by a Kuwaiti national while crossing the road, resulting in injuries and fractures. He was transported by ambulance to Jahra Hospital, and the driver was taken into custody.
