Closure and issuance of violations against 28 farms exploited as warehouses in Salibya

The General Fire Force carried out an inspection campaign in the Al-Salibya agricultural area yesterday morning, in cooperation with the Public Authority for Agriculture Affairs and Fish Resources, targeting the detection of agricultural holdings that violated safety and fire prevention requirements. The campaign resulted in administrative closure orders and the issuance of violations against 28 farms found to be used as warehouses in contravention of applicable regulations and requirements, and for failing to meet the safety standards mandated by the General Fire Force. The Force emphasized that joint inspection campaigns are part of its ongoing efforts to enhance fire prevention, mitigate risks arising from the improper use of agricultural holdings, and take legal action against violators to safeguard lives and property.
