The Joint Group Donates $1 Million to the Kuwait Emergency Response Fund

The Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development announced today the first contribution from the contracting sector, provided by the Joint Contracting Group in the amount of one million US dollars to the “Kuwait Emergency Response Fund,” which was launched on July 5 of this year. The fund aims to enhance national readiness and improve Kuwait’s capacity to handle exceptional circumstances and emergencies.

The Fund clarified that this initiative stems from the Joint Contracting Group’s sense of corporate social responsibility and its conviction in the importance of supporting national initiatives that contribute to serving the country and strengthening its ability to confront various challenges.

The Fund emphasized that the company’s contribution reflects the vital and responsible role of the Kuwaiti private sector in supporting national efforts and providing the necessary resources to enhance the speed of crisis response, thereby embodying the values of solidarity and mutual support within society.

The Fund noted that the Joint Contracting Group is among the leading contracting and infrastructure companies in Kuwait and the region, possessing extensive expertise and a regional presence in several markets, including the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar.

It is worth noting that the “Kuwait Emergency Response Fund” was established through an initiative by the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development, following approval by the Council of Ministers. The Fund will manage and exercise full oversight over its operations, with the aim of strengthening institutional resilience, enhancing the efficiency of the national response system, and enabling relevant authorities to handle emergency situations effectively and efficiently.
