Foreign Minister and his Pakistani counterpart discuss enhancing cooperation and intensifying coordination and consultation on various fronts

Foreign Minister Sheikh Jaraah Al-Jaber met with Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Muhammad Ishaq Dar, during the latter’s official visit to the capital, Islamabad. The meeting reviewed the close historical ties between the two countries and their friendly peoples, with both sides affirming their commitment to enhancing Kuwaiti-Pakistani cooperation across various fields and intensifying coordination and consultation on multiple fronts, thereby contributing to elevating bilateral relations to more advanced levels and serving the shared interests of the two friendly nations.

The meeting also discussed the latest regional developments and efforts aimed at de-escalation in the region. Sheikh Jaraah expressed Kuwait’s appreciation for the active diplomatic role played by the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in supporting the security and stability of the region.
