Deputy Minister of Interior Chairs Security Meeting to Monitor Developments in Security Plans

Deputy Minister of Interior Major General Abdulwahab Ahmed Al-Wahayb chaired a meeting yesterday with the Assistant Deputy Ministers of Interior and heads of security sectors, as part of efforts to monitor operations and enhance coordination among the Ministry’s various sectors, thereby contributing to improved security and administrative performance.
At the outset of the meeting, the Deputy Minister conveyed greetings from the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousif, to those present, wishing them success in carrying out their duties. He emphasized the importance of holding regular meetings among security leadership, given their role in strengthening communication and understanding among sectors, overcoming obstacles, and unifying efforts to achieve desired objectives and enhance the efficiency of the security work system.
During the meeting, several topics related to the operations of security sectors were reviewed, and the implementation of approved plans and programs was monitored. The discussion also covered the preparation of a comprehensive strategy for the Ministry of Interior and the establishment of an integrated work system that helps organize operations among departments, strengthens institutional integration, and develops performance to meet the requirements of the current stage.
Major General Abdulwahab Ahmed Al-Wahayb stressed the importance of continuing coordination and integration among all sectors, and working with a team spirit to further develop the security work system and raise readiness levels, thereby enhancing national security and serving the public interest.
