The Amir discussed with the Egyptian President regional and international developments and the current circumstances in the region

His Highness Amir Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad received a telephone call from his brother, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, a fraternal country. The call reviewed the close and distinguished fraternal relations linking the two countries and their peoples. During the conversation, several issues of mutual interest were discussed, and the latest developments on the regional and international fronts were examined, particularly concerning the current circumstances facing the region.

President El-Sisi reaffirmed the Arab Republic of Egypt’s steadfast support for the State of Kuwait and its backing of all measures taken to safeguard its security and sovereignty. He prayed to Almighty Allah to protect the State of Kuwait and its fraternal people from all harm and evil.
