Al-Imran: Quality appointed as table tennis coach in Al-Qurain

Ibrahim Matar: Khalid Al-Omran, Assistant Director of Table Tennis at Al-Qurain Club, announced the signing of Egyptian coach Yasser Gouda to train the club’s table tennis teams, a move that reflects the management’s commitment to building a solid foundation for the sport. He noted that the table tennis department has developed a comprehensive development plan focused on supporting the youth and junior categories, which are considered the core of the sport’s future at the club.

Al-Omran emphasized that the club’s current and future policies prioritize developing the grassroots and junior levels, achieving lasting future achievements, and nurturing a promising generation equipped with the proper skills and fundamentals to represent the club, join national teams, and compete internationally on behalf of Kuwait, thereby raising the national flag.

He added that, in line with this vision and to provide our players with the best coaching expertise, the club has hired the experienced coach Captain Gouda, a well-known name in local table tennis, with a career rich in achievements and notable titles across the clubs he has worked with in recent years. He stressed that his presence will bring a qualitative leap in the performance of the club’s age-group teams and will directly contribute to refining promising talents.

Al-Omran thanked Club President Abdul Karim Al-Shahmawi, General Secretary Khalifa Al-Shahmawi, and Treasurer Ahmed Al-Ghuwainem for their strong support of the sport, their close attention to details, and their efforts to overcome all obstacles, which fosters optimism for moving forward toward a better future for the sport.
