Esmaad apologizes for 'Raya'... and Adel apologizes for 'Bakeeza and Zaghloul'

Artist Esraa Youssef revealed the behind-the-scenes details of actor Adel Imam’s apology for not participating in the series “Bakiza and Zaghloul,” confirming that he declined to appear in the production due to prior artistic commitments, only to express his desire to take on the role after filming had concluded. This came during her seminar held as part of the activities of the Egyptian National Theater Festival. During the seminar, Esraa Youssef touched upon several milestones in her artistic career, revealing that she had previously declined to portray the character “Reya” in the play “Reya and Sakina,” after deciding that the role entailed significant risk, and preferring not to undertake the experience at that time.
