"Zal Al-Sa'i" in collaboration with UNDP

Cairo – Hanaa El-Sayed: The first episode of the new radio drama “Shadow of the Messenger” will premiere on Friday, July 31, under the patronage of the Ministry of Social Solidarity. The series is part of a comprehensive radio project led by the ministry in collaboration with several partners, aiming to highlight issues related to family, protection, care, and economic empowerment, while reinforcing values that support stability and social cohesion.

Starring actor Eyad Nassar, the drama features an ensemble cast and unfolds within a humanistic social framework, shedding light on various family-related issues, foremost among them the prevention and treatment of addiction and substance abuse, while emphasizing values of support, solidarity, and shared responsibility. The project is implemented in cooperation with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and with the support of the European Union, as part of an initiative to strengthen the institutional and human capacity of the Ministry of Social Solidarity.
