Al-Sayer contributes $3 million to the Kuwait Emergency Response Fund

The Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development announced a $3 million contribution by the Mohammed Nasser Al-Sayer and Sons Company to the Kuwait Emergency Response Fund, launched by the Fund on July 5, with the aim of enhancing national readiness and boosting Kuwait’s capacity to respond swiftly to various challenges and exceptional circumstances. The contribution also includes an in-kind donation of two specialized hazardous materials removal vehicles, valued at approximately $2.128 million.
In a statement, the Fund said that Al-Sayer Company’s contribution stems from its national and social responsibility, and its commitment to supporting initiatives that help protect the country and strengthen its vital institutions. It emphasized that this initiative reflects the company’s appreciation for national efforts aimed at enhancing Kuwait’s readiness and improving its efficiency in handling emergency situations.
The statement noted that the two specialized vehicles will be used to address emergencies related to the oil and energy sectors, as well as to support the tasks of the General Fireforce and relevant authorities in Kuwait, thereby enhancing the readiness of concerned entities to deal with various emergency conditions.
The statement clarified that the Kuwait Emergency Response Fund was established through an initiative by the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development, approved by the Council of Ministers, with the Kuwait Fund managing and fully overseeing its operations.
