Sánchez thanked Layan and all Palestinian artists, expressing his appreciation for the affection Palestinians have shown toward Spain despite the dire humanitarian conditions. In his message, he affirmed that Spanish society stands with civilians in Gaza, adding that the children of the Strip and their families “see and hear, and will not forget.”

The Spanish Prime Minister also expressed his hope that the day will come when Gaza’s children can return to school and painting in an atmosphere of security and peace, emphasizing his aspiration for a more stable future for children and families in the Strip.
