The Director General of the Public Authority for Manpower, Eng. Rabab Al-Asimi, held separate discussions with the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh to Kuwait, Syed Tariq Hussain, and the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bhutan to Kuwait, Bob Dorji, on a number of issues of mutual interest. In a statement yesterday, the Public Authority for Manpower said that Eng. Al-Asimi discussed with the Bangladeshi ambassador the files concerning Bangladeshi workers in Kuwait, as well as ways to develop cooperation mechanisms and exchange expertise to enhance work efficiency and achieve the common interests of the two countries. The Authority added that Eng. Al-Asimi discussed with the Bhutanese ambassador ways to develop work mechanisms and exchange expertise in areas of mutual interest, particularly those related to regulating the labor market to safeguard the common interests of both countries.
