Resumption of Air Flights Between Syria and Germany Starting Tomorrow

The Syrian General Authority of Civil Aviation and Air Transport announced yesterday the commencement of several regular and direct flights between Syria and Germany, effective tomorrow, operated by two German airlines. The authority stated that this move is part of efforts to strengthen air connectivity between the two countries and expand the network of destinations to and from Syrian airports. In a statement, the authority added that LEAV Aviation will begin operating regular and direct flights between Dusseldorf and Damascus starting tomorrow, July 29, with direct flights between Cologne and Aleppo launching on August 1 next. It further clarified that Sundair will start operating regular and direct flights between Berlin and Damascus on August 1 next, while its direct flights between Berlin and Aleppo will commence on October 1 next.
