Ahmed Ezz Breaks the Box Office Record for 'Wled Rizk 3'

Actor Ahmed Ezz continued to break box office records, after his film “Dogs 7” recorded the highest revenue in the history of Egyptian cinema during its first 60 days of release, adding a new achievement to his prolific cinematic career and confirming his status as one of the top box office stars in Egypt and the Arab world.

Turkic Al Sheikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, celebrated this achievement by posting on his official Facebook account an image showing the film’s total revenues, which reached 258 million, 703 thousand, and 858 Egyptian pounds.

This success is an extension of the series of successes Ahmed Ezz has achieved in recent years. According to “Laha” magazine, he continued to dominate the box office through several popular works, including “Wled Razzak 3,” which garnered massive revenues, before “Dogs 7” raised the competitive bar by achieving unprecedented figures.

“Dogs 7” stars, alongside Ahmed Ezz, Karim Abdel Aziz, Monica Bellucci, Hana Laswad, Tara Emad, Menna Shalabi, Nasser Al-Qasabi, Sayed Ragab, Hala Sedky, Salman Khan, Max Huang, Giancarlo Esposito, and Martin Lawrence, among many other stars. The film is written by Mohamed Al-Dabbah and directed by the global duo Adel Al-Arabi and Bilal Falah.

The film’s plot, set in an action framework, follows “Khaled Al-Azzazi,” an Interpol agent, who finds himself compelled to collaborate with “Ghali Abu Dawud,” a member of the “Seven Dogs” gang, on an extraordinary mission to confront an international drug trafficking network. The two become embroiled in a series of chases and conflicts that reveal numerous surprises, in a work that combines action with large-scale production.
