Kuwait officials: Mohamed Ibrahim, the national coach, led Al-Qadsiya’s first-team training for the first time in two days after a recent absence due to personal circumstances. He had not supervised the team’s sessions in Kuwait, nor the initial training camps in Yalva, Turkey, where the Yellow squad is holding its pre-season camp in preparation for the upcoming season, which kicks off on August 25 in the Premier League.
Al-Qadsiya is scheduled to play four friendly matches. The technical staff will carefully select opponents to achieve two objectives: improving physical fitness and implementing the coach’s tactical plan, aiming to reach peak readiness before returning to the country on August 18.
Meanwhile, goalkeeper Ali Jaragh announced his departure from the club and stated that he is currently evaluating the best offers to join another team in the coming days.
In other club preparations, Kazma continues its training in Izmit, Turkey, in two daily sessions under Croatian coach Dragan Tadich, as part of their preparations for the next season, during which they will participate in the Gulf Club Champions League.
The Orange team will play four friendly matches, mostly against Gulf clubs, starting with Qatari side Al-Wakrah next Thursday. There will be a three- to four-day break between each match before their return on August 14.
Kazma is awaiting the arrival of their new Senegalese professional, Amath Ndao, within the next two days. The club will also announce its fifth professional signing, a striker, during the camp, following the official signing of his contract. Currently, three foreign players are with the squad: Yemeni Nasser Mohammed, Algerian Idriss Chaabi, and Brazilian Patrick Robson.
