CENTCOM stated in a post on the X platform: “U.S. Central Command has rerouted 17 commercial vessels, detained two, and inspected two others to ensure compliance.” The post was accompanied by an image with the caption: “A U.S. sailor stands aboard the U.S. destroyer USS Frank E.
