Saudi Foreign Ministry Condemns Iranian Militias' Attacks on Its Territory

The Saudi Arabian Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom’s strongest condemnation of the attacks it suffered, denouncing the drone strikes launched by Iran-backed militias in Iraq.

In an official statement, it affirmed the Kingdom’s resolve “to safeguard its security and sovereignty, deter the aggressors, and exercise its right to respond to the sources of aggression,” while emphasizing “the necessity for the Iraqi government to take all necessary measures to ensure that its territory is not used as a launching point for aggression.”
