Al-Khaleej contributes $3 million to support the Kuwait Emergency Response Fund

In fulfillment of its national responsibility and its role as an active partner in supporting strategic initiatives, Gulf Bank announced a financial contribution of $3 million to support the Kuwait Emergency Response Fund, launched by the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development. The fund aims to enhance the country’s readiness to respond to emergencies and critical situations.
This contribution reflects Gulf Bank’s commitment to continuing its pivotal role in supporting national initiatives that strengthen the state’s capacity to manage various changes and circumstances, in line with its dedication to supporting Kuwait Vision 2035 and contributing to its goals of building a sustainable economy and a more prepared and resilient society. It also aligns with the bank’s role as a key partner in the journey toward comprehensive development.
Gulf Bank emphasized that this contribution underscores its belief in the importance of integrating efforts between the public and private sectors. It is worth noting that the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development allocated $100 million as a founding contribution to the Kuwait Emergency Response Fund, which was established by a Cabinet decision. The fund aims to finance and support national initiatives that enhance the state’s capacity to respond to emergency requirements and ensure the continuity of essential services under all circumstances.
