Sahel defeats Yarmouk... Al-Sporty secures first-ever victory in the First Division

Al-Sahel defeated Al-Yarmouk 1-0 in the match played late Saturday at Abdullah Al-Khalifa Stadium, as part of the 14th round of the Zain League First Division. The matches resumed after a pause due to the circumstances affecting the region. With this valuable win, Al-Sahel moved to 32 points, topping the table alone, and took a significant step toward promotion to the Premier League, while the losers’ tally remained at 29 points. The goal was scored by Alan De Souza.

At Jaber Al-Ahmad Stadium, Salibikhaet drew 1-1 with their guests Al-Jazeera, raising Salibikhaet’s points to 29 and Al-Jazeera’s to 25. The hosts took the lead through Fahd Al-Houli, while Charles Yao scored for the visitors.

At Nasser Al-Asimi Stadium, Al-Shamahi managed to defeat Khaitan 1-0, moving their tally to 10 points, while Khaitan remained stuck at 17 points.

In the final match held at the Al-Sahel Stadium, Sporty secured their first victory in the competition by beating Burqan 1-0, earning their first three points, while the losers’ tally remained at 14 points. The goal was scored by Abdulrahman Al-Baghlī.
