Saleh Al-Shadi: Mohammed Abdu banned from singing until September

Poet Dr. Saleh Al-Shadi revealed to the audience of Arab artist Mohammed Abduh that medical instructions require him to observe vocal silence during this period, despite his good health and continued improvement. He clarified that this precautionary phase is monitoring his previous condition and does not reflect any concerning health development.

Al-Shadi’s comments to “Okaz” were made from Tabuk, coinciding with celebrations marking the return of Tabuk Region’s Emir, Prince Fahd bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz. Mohammed Abduh had arrived from France specifically to participate in the event before heading to London.

Although present among several artistic stars participating in the occasion, the Arab artist’s voice was excluded from the program in accordance with medical recommendations that prohibit him from singing or straining his vocal cords until the end of the treatment protocol. The event was attended by artists Rashid Al-Fares and Aayed, along with several other artistic figures who contributed to the preparation and supervision of accompanying performances.

Al-Shadi stated, “Abu Abdulrahman is well, his affairs are very good, and his health is continuously improving. He is undergoing a purely precautionary and preventive procedure until the end of September, and he will soon return to his audience and fans at events and concerts.”
