Chief of Staff Discusses Enhancing Military Cooperation Between the Armed Forces of Gulf States

Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Khaled Al-Sharhan, received the Commander of the Unified Military Command of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Lieutenant General Abdulaziz Al-Bulawi, and the Commander of the Peninsula Shield Force, Lieutenant General Mohammed Al-Ruwais. During the meeting, several topics of mutual interest were reviewed, and ways to enhance military cooperation among the armed forces of the GCC member states were discussed, in order to support the progress of joint Gulf military efforts and strengthen integration across various military sectors. The meeting was attended by the Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Air Force Lieutenant General Sheikh Sabah Al-Jaber, and a number of senior commanding officers from both sides.
