Qatar to fully resume maritime navigation starting tomorrow, Sunday

The Qatari Ministry of Transport announced on Saturday the full resumption of maritime navigation activities for all types of marine vessels and ships, effective from Sunday. In a statement, the ministry said the decision to resume navigation covers all marine vessels and ships, urging all sea users and relevant authorities to comply with the applicable maritime regulations and guidelines to ensure the highest levels of safety and security during sea voyages. The ministry had previously announced on July 20 the resumption of maritime navigation activities for all types of marine vessels and ships within a defined maritime zone extending up to approximately seven nautical miles (13 kilometers), before deciding to fully resume navigation from Sunday.
