Al-Ahly contributes $3 million to support the Kuwait Emergency Response Fund

Kuwait National Bank announced its contribution of $3 million to the Kuwait Emergency Response Fund, in line with its commitment to corporate social responsibility and national duty, and to support the efforts of relevant authorities in the State of Kuwait in confronting challenges and crises and overcoming them successfully. Through this initiative, the Bank demonstrates its national commitment and its role in supporting the stability of the economy and society, particularly during exceptional circumstances and national crises, based on its belief that its role in such situations extends beyond providing conventional banking services to becoming an active contributor in supporting the state’s efforts and its official institutions.

The Bank also reaffirms its role as a developmental partner that places all its capabilities and resources at the service of the nation, to ensure the protection of various societal assets, mitigate the impacts of crises, and meet all urgent requirements. Kuwait National Bank considers its contribution to the Fund a national and ethical duty that it takes pride in fulfilling, given its social responsibility, emphasizing its conviction in the essential role of the private sector in supporting and assisting responsible authorities, standing shoulder to shoulder with them to provide the necessary resources to address any emergency situations.

The Bank stressed that supporting the state and Kuwaiti society is at the forefront of its corporate social responsibility program, and that it continuously works to back national initiatives that achieve sustainable positive impact and strengthen the values of solidarity and mutual support in Kuwaiti society across all levels.
