SpaceX Launches 20 Third-Generation Starlink Satellites

US company SpaceX announced that it launched 20 Starlink V3 satellites into space for the first time aboard the Starship vehicle, in a test aimed at expanding the capacity of the network, which has gained a prominent global standing in the field of high-quality internet. The company said in a statement that the flight, which launched from Texas in the southern United States, “aims to complete objectives similar to those pursued by the previous flight test that launched the Starship and Super Heavy Block 3, and also carries the next-generation Starlink V3 satellites for the first time.” The company clarified that, for the first time, Starship carried Starlink V3 satellites into space with the goal of significantly expanding the network’s capacity and user speeds. A post by the company on the X platform stated that “the deployment of 20 Starlink V3 satellites has been completed, and today’s test will provide critical data as we prepare to expand the Starlink constellation.”
