"Food Authority": 61 kg of unfit fish destroyed in Khaitan

The Public Authority for Food and Nutrition, represented by the Riqq Al-Riyah Food Inspection Center, conducted an inspection tour of food establishments in the Khaitan area, resulting in the issuance of violations for the sale of food items unfit for human consumption and the circulation of adulterated foods, alongside the destruction of 61,230 kilograms of fish unfit for human consumption. This tour is part of the Authority’s ongoing efforts to strengthen oversight of food establishments, ensure food safety, and protect consumer health.
