Qatari Emir Discusses Regional and International Developments and the Situation in the Middle East with the President of Uzbekistan

Doha, KUNA: His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, held a telephone conversation today, Friday, with Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to discuss the latest developments on the regional and international fronts. The Diwan Amiri (Emiri Diwan) of Qatar stated in a press release that the two sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the two friendly countries across various fields. The statement noted that the two sides exchanged views on a number of issues of mutual interest, particularly developments in the Middle East region.
