Al-Arabi loses its first Turkish trial

Al-Arabi’s first football team suffered a 1-3 defeat to Turkish side Erzurumspor in a match held at the club’s training camp in Turkey on Thursday. The only goal for Al-Arabi was scored by player Juma Aboud. The match marked the first outing for the Green team as they prepare to face Indian side East Bengal on the 12th of next month in the AFC Champions League Two playoff. It was also the first match under Croatian coach Goran Sablic. The team is scheduled to play three additional friendly matches before traveling to Kolkata.
