Holiday Weather: Very Hot During the Day, Warm at Night, and Relatively Humid

The Meteorology Department has forecast that the country’s weather over the weekend will be extremely hot during the day and hot to warm at night, with relatively high humidity, particularly in coastal areas.
Speaking to KUNA, Acting Director of the Department, Dharar Al-Ali, said the country is affected by an extension of the monsoon low, accompanied by a very hot air mass and light to moderate-speed northwesterly winds.
Al-Ali explained that daytime weather today will be extremely hot, with northwesterly to variable-direction winds, light to moderate in speed, ranging between 8 and 32 kilometers per hour. Maximum temperatures are expected to range between 46 and 48 degrees Celsius, and the sea will be calm to moderately rough.
He added that nighttime weather will be hot to warm, with northwesterly to variable-direction winds, light to moderate in speed, ranging between 8 and 28 kilometers per hour. Minimum temperatures are expected to range between 31 and 33 degrees Celsius, and the sea will be calm to moderately rough.
Regarding tomorrow’s Saturday daytime weather, Al-Ali said it will be extremely hot and relatively humid in coastal areas, with northwesterly to variable-direction winds, light to moderate in speed. Maximum temperatures are expected to range between 47 and 49 degrees Celsius, and the sea will be calm to moderately rough.
