Smuggling of 9 kg of chemical liquid hidden in shampoo bottles thwarted

Ahmad Khamis: The General Directorate of Customs announced the thwarting of an attempt to smuggle approximately nine kilograms of the narcotic liquid “Chemical,” which was arriving from the United Kingdom and concealed inside shampoo bottles in a manner designed to disguise the substance and bypass regulatory procedures. In a press statement, Customs said the seizure was carried out in accordance with directives issued by the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef, aimed at strengthening customs oversight and combating attempts to smuggle prohibited substances. It added that the appropriate legal procedures had been initiated regarding the case.
