Times Recommended for Worship
From Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him), who reported that the Prophet ﷺ said: “Religion is easy, and no one will ever overburden himself in religion without being overwhelmed. So strive for balance, draw near [to righteousness], give glad tidings, and seek help through the early morning, the late afternoon, and a portion of the night.” (Sahih – reported by Al-Bukhari)
Benefits of the Hadith: The ease and leniency of Islamic law, and its moderation between excess and neglect; it indicates that a servant should perform duties to the best of his ability, without laxity or harshness; it shows that a Muslim should choose the times of greatest energy for worship, and these three specific times are when the body is most at ease for acts of worship.
