Launch of Educational Cultural Clubs in 12 Centers to Enhance Basic Skills in Preparation for the New Academic Year

Alaa Khalifa: The Ministry of Education announced the launch of educational cultural clubs at 12 centers distributed across various educational districts, aiming to enhance the core skills of students from the first grade of primary school through the ninth grade, and better prepare them for the new academic year. This initiative stems from the Ministry’s conviction that mastering core skills in Arabic, English, and mathematics constitutes the foundation upon which the learning journey is built across all educational stages, contributing to improved academic achievement, bolstering students’ self-confidence, and enabling them to continue their educational path efficiently.

The Ministry clarified that the program focuses on delivering educational and foundational plans that take into account the age characteristics and educational needs of each stage, thereby enhancing reading, writing, comprehension, understanding, communication, and arithmetic skills. It also aims to address areas of weakness and consolidate the knowledge and skills necessary for the educational stage students will transition to.

The Ministry noted that the program will be implemented during evening hours from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m., four days a week, from August 2 to 19 next year. It will be delivered through free educational programs offered by a select group of qualified educational personnel, according to educational plans specifically designed to achieve the best outcomes in core subjects.
