The Ministry of Electricity and Water presents “Wafar’s Path to Sustainability” to the Public Authority for Combating Corruption

As part of the national campaign for energy and water conservation, “Wafar,” and to strengthen institutional partnerships and promote a culture of rationalizing electricity and water consumption, the awareness and education team for conservation delivered an informative lecture titled “Wafar: A Path to Sustainability” at the headquarters of the Public Authority for Combating Corruption (Nazaha), attended by the Authority’s Chairman, Dr. Rana Al-Faris, and a number of staff members.

The lecture covered key daily behaviors that contribute to reducing electricity and water consumption, and emphasized the importance of adopting prudent practices in workplaces and homes, thereby enhancing social responsibility and supporting the state’s efforts to preserve national resources and contribute to achieving sustainable development goals.

At the conclusion of the lecture, the team stressed the importance of continuing collaboration with government entities in implementing awareness programs and initiatives, which help raise public awareness of the significance of conserving electricity and water, and reinforce positive behaviors that support efficient resource use and ensure their preservation for future generations. The team commended the attendees’ engagement and interest in participating in the discussions.

The awareness team members who delivered the lecture included Eng. Khadija Mishaari, Eng. Anfal Al-Filakawi, Eng. Abdulaziz Al-Ibrahim, and Eng. Dalal Al-Mansouri.
