Ministry of Labour launches new service to add or remove a representative on a file via “Easier for Companies”

Kuwait officials announced that the Public Authority for Manpower has launched a new service to add or remove a representative from a file via “Asheel for Companies.” The Authority outlined the steps for this new procedure: the authorized signatory must log in to the Asheel for Companies system, select the file services menu, and choose “Register Representative.” This will display the details of all workers registered under the company’s file. The signatory then selects the worker to be registered as a representative, verifies the worker’s information, and completes the process by clicking the “Submit Request” button. The Authority confirmed that once these steps are followed, the request is processed automatically, and the worker is registered as a representative, with the representative’s registration remaining valid until the expiration of the worker’s residence permit. It further noted that after completing these electronic procedures, the representative must access the Huatey application (digital wallet) and tap on “Identity Documents” to view the work ID.
