Ministry of Interior and Judicial Studies Institute Conclude Training Program in the Implementation of Criminal Sentences

The Ministry of Interior and the Kuwait Institute for Judicial and Legal Studies concluded a specialized training program aimed at preparing and qualifying police officers specializing in the enforcement of criminal judgments and addressing challenges related to their implementation, in accordance with a memorandum of understanding signed between the two parties. In a press statement, the Ministry of Interior said the program reflects its commitment to enhancing the capacity of its national cadres and strengthening institutional cooperation in the fields of training, legal specialization, and professional development.

The statement noted that the program’s lectures were delivered by the Public Prosecutor and Deputy Director of the Institute’s Basic Training Sector, Advisor Meshal Al-Ghanam, who covered the legal and practical aspects related to the enforcement of criminal judgments and the mechanisms for handling issues that may arise during implementation, thereby contributing to improving the efficiency of Ministry of Interior personnel and elevating their performance in this specialized field.

It was further indicated that at the conclusion of the program, the Institute’s Director, First Public Prosecutor and Advisor Bader Al-Musaed, presented participation certificates to Ministry of Interior personnel who took part in the program, in the presence of the Head of the Training and Education Sector, Brigadier General Khaled Al-Humaidi, and the Head of the Private Security and Correctional Institutions Sector, Brigadier General Duhaik Al-Duhaik.

The Ministry of Interior added that organizing this program is part of joint efforts between the Ministry and the Institute to strengthen institutional partnership and develop the legal and specialized capabilities of employees in law enforcement agencies, thereby supporting the efficiency of the justice system and keeping pace with best practices in this field.

Attending the closing ceremony were the Institute’s Deputy Director for Continuous and Specialized Training Sector, Advisor Saud Al-Sanea; the Deputy Director for Communications, Relations, and Research Sector, Advisor Ahmad Al-Maqled; a member of the Technical Office, Advisor Abdulaziz Al-Rabiean; and several senior officials from the Ministry of Interior.
