Kuwait’s first football team departed today for London, the UK capital, to hold a training camp running until August 15, in preparation for the start of the new season’s competitions on the 25th of next month. The “White” squad traveling to London comprises 27 players, including new signings Hassan Hamdan, Abdullah Al-Qarazi, Salman Al-Awadi, Mubarak Al-Mohammadi, and Brazilian Carlos Vinicius “Carlinhos.” Kuwait is scheduled to play several friendly matches there, including a clash with Milton Keynes Dons, a club owned by a Kuwaiti management team led by Fahad Al-Ghanim and Hamad Al-Mazrouq. The Kuwaiti administration had signed professional contracts with rising players Musfer Al-Adwani and Hadi Al-Anzi prior to the trip to London, but they will not be part of the departing squad.
