"Disabled Persons' Table" to Kazakhstan

Hadi Al-Anzi: Yesterday morning, the national para-table tennis team departed for the Kazakh capital, Astana, to participate in the Future 2026 International Para-Table Tennis Championship, which will be hosted in the city of Aktobe over the next two days. The national team will be represented by nine players, three competing in standing events and six in wheelchair events. The championship will see the participation of 165 players and players’ representing 25 countries. For his part, Daej Al-Hajjar, President of the Para-Table Tennis Committee, emphasized that the tournament holds significant importance for many Asian countries. He told Al-Anbaa: “We hope to compete for top positions and achieve the best results in the championship, despite the strong competition expected. Furthermore, the Future International Championship serves as an important and advanced preparation for the Asian Para Games, which will be hosted by Japan next October.”
