Minister of Electricity and Undersecretary Inspect Two Power and Desalination Plants: Great Efforts by Ministry Staff and Dedication to National Duty

Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, Dr. Sabih Al-Makhzoum, and the Ministry’s Undersecretary, Dr. Adel Al-Zamil, conducted two separate field visits to two power and desalination plants to monitor ongoing work and ensure the well-being of employees, amid the unjust Iranian aggression attacks on the facilities, which coincided with peak electrical loads during the summer season.

During their respective visits, each official reviewed the operational processes at the plant and listened to briefings from managers and technical staff on rehabilitation efforts for damaged units, as well as the measures taken to ensure the continuous production of electricity and water, and to maintain the stability of the national power and water systems.

Both officials also met with the plant workers, commending their significant efforts and dedication to fulfilling their national duty. They urged them to sustain their continuous efforts during this sensitive period in the history of the State of Kuwait, highlighting the professionalism and patriotism of Ministry personnel in shouldering the responsibilities entrusted to them, thereby contributing to the uninterrupted delivery of services to citizens and residents.

These visits are part of the ongoing field tours conducted by Ministry leadership to monitor operations across its various facilities and to stand alongside national cadres who continue to perform their duties with efficiency and professionalism under all circumstances, particularly in light of the unjust attacks that occurred last week.
