Kuwait Council for People with Disabilities Discusses Enhancing Initiatives Supporting Persons with Disabilities in Academic and Training Fields

Nada Abu Nasr: The Public Authority for People with Disabilities held a coordination meeting attended by the Authority’s Director General, Dr. Dalal Al-Othman, and sector deputies, with the participation of a delegation from Kuwait University, to explore ways to enhance joint cooperation and develop initiatives supporting persons with disabilities in academic and training fields. During the meeting, they discussed creating a university environment for students with disabilities to promote their integration and empowerment, reviewing the development of curricula in disability-related disciplines to align with their needs, and studying the provision of appropriate communication materials and tools for them.
